When regular concrete flooring is grounded correctly and polished with suitable abrasives, a new life is blown into its otherwise dull look. The availability of many colour options and finishes helps one match flooring with their interiors, whether from their office or home. Most importantly, you can choose any amount of aggregate exposure – zero, partial or full- during the polishing phase.

Zero Exposure

In zero exposure, the aggregate is not visible as only the topmost layer of concrete is removed to apply chemicals and sealants. In partial exposure, only a small amount of concrete is grounded to become evenly flat and groutable before polishing. Depending upon the aggregate position in the concrete, varying degrees of exposure shall be obtained. It is perfect if one is looking for a rustic look. In full exposure, the grinding is done to a level where maximum stones are visible uniformly throughout the surface. If the concrete has been appropriately installed, i.e., the right mix and quantity have been poured at every place with no pockets and gaps, then full exposure polishing can provide phenomenal results as stones retain the shine pretty well.
