It’s perfect for parts of the house on which there is heavy foot traffic; Kitchen, rumpus room, front entrance, garage and so forth.
You don’t need to use chemicals to clean it either.
The surface itself is hypoallergenic too, meaning the floor is safe for the entire family, including the furry members, to live and play on it.
Grind & seal is economical as you are transforming a floor that is already there.
Eco Grind can evaluate and convert any floor in any condition.
The Process
Your existing floor will be ground down to about 200-400 grit.
Eco Grind uses a strong, heavy-duty machine equipped with diamond abrasive grits.
You can choose one of three exposure levels.
Full exposure takes your surface right down to its deepest aggregate (the stones), which gives your floor a gorgeous glossy finish.
Partial exposure offers a salt-and-pepper finish (that’s also the other name for this level of exposure). It’s rustic, yet modern.
Nil exposure is trickier, but Eco Grind are experts who know what they’re doing. The sand and stone are left far below the surface, leaving a cream finish.
Thereafter, acid etching happens.
A diluted hydrochloride acid solution is allowed to react with the concrete, opening up the pores. This will enable the sealer to properly adhere to the surface and leave you with a stunning satin or gloss finish, depending on your preference.
Grind & seal Concrete is the perfect choice for anyone wanting to convert a factory floor into a residential space or home.
