Check out this recent job by Eco Grind, where we improved a home with Full Exposure Polished Concrete Floors Northcote.
For this job, we polished concrete floors to full exposure in a home in Northcote. These new customers sought us out with the desire to brighten up their interior, making their home open and airy. Looking at the concrete they had, we knew exactly what to do!
A Brighter Home with Full Exposure Polished Concrete Floors Northcote
Thankfully, the slab of concrete at this Northcote home was light in colour and contained a large helping of white pebbles in the aggregate. This gave us all the resources we needed to realise our customer’s desire for a brighter interior. The concrete’s true potential was hidden behind layers of dullness, making it our job to grind and polish this away to reveal the inner layers.
We achieved this through a full exposure polish. This involved grinding down a substantial amount of the surface to make the aggregate appear distinctive and more apparent. As we noticed this particular slab had a higher-than-usual number of white pebbles, we believed that bringing these to the surface would yield a brilliant effect and brighten up this Northcote home.
The Final Result!
Our attempt to create a lively, dazzling interior in Northcote through full exposure polished concrete was an undisputed success. Despite no changes to the structure of the home, almost immediately the rooms felt more open, spacious, and bright. The radiant concrete and white aggregate sparkled under both natural and indoor lighting, reducing the need for artificial light. The freshly polished concrete also yielded a wonderful shine, which will remain even after years of use and can be easily maintained through simple mopping. Needless to say, our customers in Northcote were more than pleased with the job!
