Thinking of sprucing up those tired old floors? Concrete Polished Floors are a great alternative to other flooring solutions compared to carpet, tiles and floor boards.
Years of experience in the industry, Eco Grind are the trusted experts that Melburnians rely on to achieve stunning concrete polished floors that will continue to look amazing in future years.
One of the major reasons for the increasing trend towards concrete floor polishing recently is its affordability. Whilst it does depend on the difficulty of the job, it can be more cost-effective than alternative flooring options. This is compounded by the minimal maintenance costs. After you’ve had the initial job done, it’s unlikely that you’ll need to spend significantly on maintenance for at least the next decade.
A huge advantage of concrete floor polishing is that it doesn’t use any hazardous chemicals, adhesives or cleaners. This is in stark contrast to many flooring alternatives, which use these hazardous chemicals in both installation and maintenance. The lack of these hazardous chemicals also mean that polished concrete is generally resistant to both moisture and abrasion. Its great thermal properties also mean that it works very well with increasingly-popular radiant floor heating systems.
Polished concrete floors not only look great, but are durable and long wearing. Unlike other flooring materials such as timber or tiles, polished concrete floors won’t chip or require constant maintenance. With Eco Grind polished concrete, you know you’ve got a floor that will stand the test of time.
This is also a sustainable option, as we can use the existing concrete as your base. We can come and asses your current concrete slab and see what we can do for it. We can also start from the ground up and create the perfect concrete floor that caters to your requirements.
