Burnished Concrete Finish requires a procedure which utilizes a high-speed burnisher. The burnisher spins approximately 1,500 to 2500 reps per minute.
Burnished Concrete Finish – The idea behind the burnisher is that it heats, melts and buffs a chemical component to the surface of the floor. In doing so the pores within the concrete are filled with the chemical by melting and spreading the product on your concrete floor.
There are a few types of chemicals your polished concrete specialist will use. One being a wax-based product, this is usually used for maintenance purposes. The second chemical is a densifier, used for the polishing industry.
If a densifier is used, the surface of your floor will have a more glossy appearance.
Burnished Concrete Finishes are a popular choice of floor type, particularly for industrial buildings, carparks, and warehouses. Having said that over the recent years, homeowners and business owners are opting to implement this finish within their residential homes and commercial spaces.
